Acrylic Painting with Judy I teach classes at the YMCA in Mt. Holly, NC.  The classes are for anyone who wants to paint and you do not need to be a YMCA member to attend and all levels of experience are welcome.   We have been unable to have classes this summer however, we will resume classes on Thursday, September 3 in the Community Room.  Classes are two hours each on Thursday mornings from 9:30 am - 11:30.   Cost: $12.00 per class (each week is considered an individual class although we might work on a project for several weeks). Beginner Kits are also available for the purchase price of $25 and include a large One Stroke Brush Caddy, set of 4 brushes and 4 Folk Art paints. Supplies and surfaces are the responsibility of the student unless otherwise stated.  Student should have these supplies for each class:  Brush Caddy, One Stroke or comparable brushes, Viva paper towels, foam plates (paint pallet paper or One Stroke Double Loader) and other supplies as determined for classes. Brushes, paints, One Stroke Brush Caddy, One Stroke Double Loader, some surfaces, and other supplies and materials are available at 10% off retail price before and after class. We have painted landscapes, seascapes, flowers and many other things during our painting sessions.
Polymer Clay Classes On Thursday Afternoon from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, I am teaching Polymer Clay Classes at Hobby Lobby in Gastonia.  During the class, we have created items to use in the home.  I am not teaching jewelry or beads at this time but may incorporate that later.	Other Classes - Scrapbooking, Greeting Cards and Portraits Unfortunately, scrapbook, greeting card and other paper art classes have been put on hold for now due to scheduling and space in my home studio. I have also been working on family portraits as you can see on the Gallery Page and Pop Art which has an individual page. I am not ready to teach portrait painting or Pop Art at this time but can be available to paint portraits, especially pet portraits, in either style.  Please contact me for information and pricing about any of the above.
